Eppig's Waterfront Biergarten sits right on the San Diego Bay at Shelter Island Marina, with sweeping water views and a laid-back waterfront setting. The brewery describes it as its dockside gathering place, with traditional lagers and innovative ales brewed in San Diego.
And honestly?
This is exactly what you want in the middle of a Saturday.
No rushing.
No loud nightclub.
No trying to yell across a table.

Head to Old Venice in Point Loma for a martini at the bar.
Old Venice is a longtime neighborhood restaurant with a full bar, candlelit dining room and beautiful garden patios. The restaurant has been family owned and operated for more than 45 years.
But we're not sending you there for a full dinner.
You're having a martini.

This is where your casual Saturday afternoon turns into:
"Okay, we're having a NIGHT."
